Canopy Design Studio is a landscape design company located in Bright, Victoria, on the lands of the Taungurung and Dhudhuroa people in North East Victoria.

We create landscapes and gardens that reflect their place, complement the home's architecture and create a sanctuary for our clients to live in. We listen carefully to the site and our clients to bring their vision to life. Our gardens are places for gathering, creating stories and lasting memories.

Canopy Design Studio, founded by Emily Hanekroot, approaches landscape design with a wealth of horticultural and construction knowledge. Emily honed her skills working with one of Australia's most prominent Landscape Designers, William Dangar, where she delivered his cutting-edge designs across Sydney and Australia.

Emily's early experiences in the industry sparked her love for the intricate details of landscape design, constantly seeking new ways to combine textures of foliage, forms of trees and characteristics of materials to express the design intent. At Canopy Design Studio, we create designs prioritising the garden's natural beauty and character.
