Leading Views, Bright

Located high on the hill overlooking Bright and the Ovens Valley, our client was after a landscape design that increased functionality on their steep block. We created a street presence and welcoming entry at the front by designing an intuative pedestrian entry to the hidden front door and screening off the carport. The rear garden was left by the builders as basic boulder retaining and turf on even the steepest sections. We created tiers and pathways to increase functional spaces, added comfortable stairs that complimented the existing boulder retaining and planted in a native style for low maintenance, resiliant plantings and seasonal interest with year round flowering, Autumn colour and evergreen structural plants. Edible gardens use wicking beds and fruit trees are placed in the garden rather than a stand alone orchard.
